  • Who will perform the installation of the vertical groundloop?

It will be performed by our partner company and subcontractors having reliable, several years’ experience, drilling equipment suitable for drilling in rocky ground and serious references.

  •  How much is the place demand of the heat pump system?

For family house systems, optimally 4-6 m2 closed, heated room will be provided .The place demand of large system will be defined by the designer.

  • Can heat pump be combined with another heat providing system?

With careful designing, the heat pump system can be combined with another heat producing system – gas boiler, sun collector, electric coil, etc.

  • Who will perform the establishment of the heat pump heat centre?

Our contracted partners who participate in our training course. If we do not have any partner company in the given area yet, then the factory assembly brigade will perform the installation and commissioning under guarantee of the equipment.

  • How much will the life of the system be and what kind of guarantee will you undertake?

The expected life of the heat pump is minimum 20-25 years. Certainly the maintenance or renewal of traditional engineering equipment, elements (circulation pumps, valves, etc.) must be performed in regular intervals.

The basic guarantee for the whole heat pump will be 1 year, within this for the single moving part, the compressor, 2 years. If you make the annual supervision performed by the factory guarantee repair service, then the general guarantee will be prolonged for 2 years, while the compressor guarantee for 4 years. We undertake 10 years’ guarantee for the collector system installed by us.

  •  How the domestic hot water will be prepared in cooling mode in summer?

For the Vaporline heat pumps of reversible cycle (HACW-type), in summer we produce the domestic hot water free of charge out of some 12% of the heat dissipated from the building. This heat amount will improve the COP value of the cooling.

  • How long will the construction of the heat pump system last?

First we will prepare the holes in the soil, in which we install the probes. The following step is the construction of the internal machinery and from the aspect of the system the final phase is the commissioning and adjustment of the heat pump.                                                                                                                              The time required for the installation of the soil probes depends on the number of the necessary holes. For a soil easy to drill, even 2 pieces of 100m deep probe can be prepared a day, while for a rocky, granite soil difficult to drill only 1/2 -1 piece.

The construction of the internal machinery will not last longer than for a traditional system. In the event of a new building, certainly it greatly depends on the degree of completion and organisation of other architectural works.

The commissioning and adjustment of the heat pup connected to the completed system will last for not more than 1 or 2 days.

  • What maintenance will the heat pump require?

The heat pump will need no maintenance. However, the exothermic and heating system connected to it will require maintenance (pressure control, refill, bleeding). The electric system can fail in the event of certain weather conditions or line disturbances. It is easy to replace the fuses; you need not be an expert.

  • How safe is the operation of the heat pump?

Heat pump is a proved, reliable technique. Only electric power is needed for its operation. Occasional failures of the heating systems are rather caused by the breakdown of the peripheral parts (circulation pump).

  •  What exothermic system can VAPORLINE heat pumps be operated with?

Vaporline heat-pumps can be applied with better than ever SPF values for radiator or air engineering (calorifier) heating systems with maximum 630C/580C heating temperature step. Certainly for new buildings it is reasonable to use low-temperature floor, wall or ceiling heating since the achievable SPF value will grow in this way.

  • What temperature of domestic hot water can Vaporline heat pump produce?

The reversible (HACW) types are equipped with a desuperheater. The temperature of DHW (Domestic Hot Water) produced with the desuperheater changes between 450C-700C in accordance with the condensation temperature set by the regulator. For non-reversible (HDW, HPCDW) types, the maximum temperature of DHW is the same as the maximum condensation temperature (630C).

  • Are Vaporline heat pumps suitable for the operation of the existing radiator heating systems?

In principle yes, but its adjustment to the heat pump system requires careful designing work. First the possibility of heat output will be considered and the way of heat output defined. Then the designer will examine whether the temperature level maximally provided by the heat pump system will be sufficient for the stable operation of the system. The control will be adjusted to the heat pump requirements, etc.

  • How noisy are Vaporline heat pumps?

Vaporline heat pumps are designed for interior use. They are equipped with multiple vibration and sound damping (factory-made sound damping cover, vibration damping base, sound-insulated cover), therefore the sound pressure from 1m distance will not exceed 45 dB(A).

  • Can heat pump cool the building as well?

Vaporline HACW heat pumps have reversible cycle therefore they are able to operate in active cooling mode in summer. They are suitable for wall or ceiling cooling with 15/190C temperature step as well as for fan coil with 7/120C cooling step. If active cooling is not necessary for the actual building then the HPCDW type can be applied which can provide passive cooling.
